We spent almost a month here and absolutely loved our stay! The house was cozy, well equipped, and felt like a real home away from home. The backyard was a highlight, spacious, peaceful, and perfect for relaxing. The location was great, and everything we needed was nearby. Our host was responsive and kind, making sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. Highly recommend and would happily return!

We had an amazing 3-night stay at Mark’s place in Buenaventura! From the moment we booked, Mark was incredibly responsive and helpful…always quick to answer any questions we had. The house itself is beautiful, clean, and very comfortable, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The private pool and outdoor area were the highlights for us…perfect for enjoying the warm weather and spending quality time with family. The neighborhood is peaceful and safe, and we loved being surrounded by nature while still being close to everything in Buenaventura. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a relaxing getaway with excellent hospitality. Thank you, Mark!

THIS IS IT!! Look no further. I recommend this cabin for kids of ALL ages. Something for everyone. Mark thought of everything. Spacious, fun, “smart” cabin with plenty of peaceful & tranquil moments. We started & ended our days on the back deck from coffee in the morning to watching the stars at night, listening to the coyotes howl (we only seen one in the distance running). My teenage grandchildren loved it. They actually put their phones down & joined the fun. I would definitely stay here again.

We had a truly wonderful stay at Mark’s beautiful home in the Buenaventura resort area. The house is spacious, elegantly decorated, and fully equipped with top-notch amenities, including a private pool, a lovely terrace, and a high-quality entertainment system. It felt like home from the moment we arrived. We booked a private chef for my wife’s birthday, and the kitchen had everything needed for a flawless dining experience. Mark was an exceptional host attentive, friendly, and always quick to respond. Buenaventura itself is a stunning location, surrounded by lush nature and offering access to excellent restaurants, relaxing pools, and a beautiful beach. We couldn’t have asked for a better getaway and would absolutely love to return!

Estuvimos en esta casa durante unos días lluviosos… ¡y aún así fue una experiencia increíble! La casa es simplemente espectacular: impecablemente equipada, con detalles cuidados al milímetro y una piscina privada que, incluso bajo la lluvia, se disfrutaba como un lujo. Se nota que está pensada para el descanso y la desconexión total. El anfitrión fue atento, claro y confiable desde el primer momento. Sentimos que estábamos en buenas manos. Cada espacio de la casa transmite calidad y buen gusto, lo cual hizo que, a pesar del clima, nuestro viaje haya sido perfecto. Definitivamente volveríamos. Esta casa es de esas joyas que uno no olvida. 🌿✨

Marks, was a wonderful host. The place was as described. The pictures do not do it justice it’s beautiful and peaceful. I would enjoy the hammock and just absorb the nature around me. I did get to see a coyote and her pups. So if you take a dog, please keep a close eye on them. The house was huge. Everyone had something to do. No one was bumping into anyone. Especially with having 3 living areas. Everything you need for your stay is provided. We used the BBQ most days. Stores are only a 10 min drive including big bear lake. I would definitely recommend staying here especially if you have a big family. There are 4 bathrooms so no one is fighting over the bathrooms. The bathtub in the main room is a plus with a fireplace. I couldn’t be happier staying here. I will be staying here again in the future. Mark was always polite and answered all my questions while I stayed there. Great host.

This is a nice home in an amazingly expensive area for a reasonable price. Walking the neighborhood is lovely. I was very surprised that LAX is only 20 minutes and downtown LA is a mere 30 (no traffic) so it is a really great location! Mark is a fantastic host

10/10 recommend! My guests and I had such an incredible weekend stay at Mark’s beautiful cabin! It was equipped with everything we needed and more, from the relaxing hot tub to the array of indoor and outdoor games and the entertainment area with the popcorn machine. We barely felt the need to leave the cabin at all. Mark was exceptionally responsive and provided very clear instructions, ensuring a seamless experience. We loved every moment and would absolutely rent with him again!

We had such a wonderful experience staying at this house. From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The host was incredibly welcoming, responsive, and made sure every detail was taken care of. Check-in was seamless, and the place was spotless and beautifully decorated—exactly like the photos (if not better!). The location was perfect—quiet and peaceful, yet close to everything we needed. The bed was super comfortable, and all the amenities were thoughtfully provided, from coffee and toiletries to fast Wi-Fi and local recommendations. It truly felt like a home away from home.
