📋 A FEW THINGS TO KEEP IN MIND — PLEASE READ! We want everyone to have an amazing stay, so please take a moment to review these important guidelines. 🙏 🔇 NOISE LEVELS Please keep noise to a minimum — especially between 10:00 PM and 7:00 AM 🌙. This includes upon your arrival and departure. We have wonderful neighbors and we'd love to keep it that way! 🎉 NO PARTIES OR EVENTS This is a retreat, not a venue! 🚫 Our smart home monitors the number of cell phones on the premises as well as excessive noise levels (Minut devices). Don't throw a party — you will get busted! 📵 👥 MAXIMUM GUESTS The maximum occupancy is 12 guests. Any guests beyond what's listed on your itinerary will be charged a $50 per person per night penalty. Exceeding the maximum occupancy may result in immediate termination of your stay without refund. ⚠️ The county enforces fines of $1,000 to $3,000 for violations — not worth it! 🚗 PARKING The driveway accommodates up to 5 cars. There is no street parking — violators may receive a fine, and the county enforces penalties of $1,000 to $3,000 for exceeding the 5-car maximum. Plan accordingly! 🅿️ 🐾 PETS One (1) short-haired, medium or smaller dog is welcome with prior host approval for a $149 pet fee. 🐶 Have a second small pup? Reach out — we might be able to work something out for an additional $149! ⛔ ABSOLUTELY NO PETS IN THE BEDROOMS — NO EXCEPTIONS! Any detected pet odor will result in odor removal fees of up to $399. 🛁 SPA / HOT TUB Help us keep the spa clean and enjoyable for everyone: 🚿 Shower with soap before entering 🚫 No glass in or near the hot tub 🚫 No jumping, horseplay, or pets in the spa 🚫 Do not walk, sit, or lay on the hot tub cover ✅ Turn jets off after use and close the cover ⚠️ Anything that dirties the water and requires a full drain and refill (dirty body, urine, or spilled drinks) will incur a $75 charge. We are required by law to clean the spa between guest visits — trust us, we'll know! 🟢 🚬 SMOKING No smoking inside the cabin — period. 🚭 Outside smoking is fine as long as you dispose of your butts properly. Any evidence of indoor smoking will result in odor removal fees of up to $399. 🍽️ EATING & DRINKING Please keep food and drinks out of the bedrooms. 🛏️❌ Enjoy your meals and beverages in the dining room or on the patio — like the civilized humans we know you are! 😄 🪑 FURNITURE Please treat our furnishings with care. 💛 You will be responsible for any damages, and please do not rearrange the furniture. 🍳 KITCHEN A few dishes in the sink — totally fine! But if there's an excessive pile of dirty dishes, pots, pans, or utensils left behind, an additional $50 cleaning fee may be added to your booking. Don't be a lazy slob — you've got this! 😉🧼 💡 ELECTRONICS When you leave, please turn off all lights, fans, and electronics. Let's be kind to the planet — and the electric bill! 🌱 🛏️ TOWELS & LINENS No need to make the beds! Just leave any used towels on the bathroom or laundry room floor and we'll take care of the rest. 🧺 ⏰ LATE CHECKOUT Checkout is at 11:00 AM sharp — no exceptions unless pre-arranged with the host. (A 15-minute grace period applies.) 💸 Late checkout penalties: Departure TimePenaltyBy 11:10 AM✅ No chargeBy 11:55 AM⚠️ $50 feeBy 12:30 PM⚠️ $100 fee 🔴 Still here after 3:00 PM? You will be charged double the nightly rate plus additional platform sanctions. This rental is in high demand — our amazing cleaning crew needs time to work their magic for the next guests! 🧹✨ 🔒 LOCK UP Before you leave, please make sure all windows are closed and all doors are locked. Safety first! 🗝️ 🔨 REPORT ANY DAMAGE Accidents happen! Please report any damages or breakages in a timely manner. 🙏 Damages exceeding the security deposit must be paid by guests and will be reported to Airbnb. 🗑️ TRASH Trash cans are available on the front driveway for your use — here's how to keep things tidy: 🛍️ All trash must be placed in bags first, then into the cans ♻️ Clean recyclables go in the BLUE can ONLY — think bottles, cans, and clean cardboard 🍕 Pizza boxes or anything with food on it? Those go in the BLACK non-recyclable cans 🔒 Lid locks must remain locked at ALL times ⛔ No trash sticking out of the cans — ever! If the cans are full, please take your remaining trash with you and dispose of it at one of the two Big Bear Dump locations (search "Big Bear Dump" for directions). 🗺️ ⚠️ Any trash left behind outside of the cans will incur a $25 per bag fee. 🚮 ✅ THE GOLDEN RULES: 🔓 IF YOU OPEN IT — CLOSE IT. 📦 IF YOU TAKE IT OUT — PUT IT BACK. 🧹 IF YOU MAKE A MESS — CLEAN IT UP.
